Full moon

Golden amber globe

Orb of fire

Velvet indigo blanket

Pinball cobblestone maze

Trams whiz and bleet

Arteries of energy thrive

The woods keep calling me

Into the night

Away from the orange spindle

Black leaves frame the rocks

Trail goes up and deeper

My drink of dance with amber vigor

Morning sunrise 4 am

Reflects the fire in his eyes

Burning heat deep enfolded

I see his soul

Intensity contained

Integrity from within

Beautiful to hold

Waiting and running uphill

I know not what for

Sky is charcoal grey

Reflecting iridescent light

From the city below

Clouds catching and churning

The moon is swallowed

And the ember smolders

Hunger cravings

I wait
